Hira-zukuri is a flat, ridgeless blade shape you don't see often. This one is hand-forged, differentially hardened 1095 high carbon steel with a choji hamon, full tang, real ray skin and cord wrap.

It comes with a carbon steel tsuba, brass fittings, a wood saya, a sword bag and a gift case. It shows up better dressed than most people on a Tuesday.

Blade & intended use

Functional sharp blade – 1095 high carbon steel, differentially hardened. This sword ships with a live edge and is intended for experienced adult collectors and practitioners. Adults 18+ only. Please check your local laws before purchasing, and always handle, store and transport it with care.

Care: wipe the blade after handling and keep a light coat of oil on it to prevent rust.

Sold as a decorative display piece. Intended for display and collection only.
