This katana is hand-forged 1095 carbon steel using the muku-gitae method and water tempered for a real suguha (straight) hamon. It has a real ray skin handle, a copper crane tsuba and brass fuchi and kashira.

It's understated. Expensive things are allowed to be.

Blade & intended use

Functional sharp blade – 1095 carbon steel, water tempered. This sword ships with a live edge and is intended for experienced adult collectors and practitioners. Adults 18+ only. Please check your local laws before purchasing, and always handle, store and transport it with care.

Care: wipe the blade after handling and keep a light coat of oil on it to prevent rust.

Sold as a decorative display piece. Intended for display and collection only.
